One job, one night, and every crew member owes the same loan shark a different kind of debt.
In the vertical city of Kessan, everyone owes somebody, and the crew owes the worst somebody of all: a loan shark who buys debts and collects them in years. The offer is simple. Steal a single data core from the hundredth floor of the Halcyon Tower during the company's anniversary gala, and every debt is wiped. The planner has the plan, the netrunner has the way in, the inside man has the badge, the driver has the way out and the muscle has the rest. Each of them has also been made a private offer to sell the others out.
5 roles. You take one; your friends take the rest, and the narrator plays any left over. Anyone can bring a character of their own into a role instead.
A gifted netrunner with a burned-out neural jack, who can still crack anything but cannot always tell where the net ends.
The best getaway driver in the lower city, whose old car is held together by tape, prayer and illegal upgrades.
A mid-level Halcyon accountant with a badge to the hundredth floor and a gambling habit he has hidden from everyone but the loan shark.
A former corporate security enforcer with chrome arms and a quiet conscience, doing one last job to buy them back.
A meticulous heist planner who put this crew together, owes the loan shark the most, and has a second plan nobody else knows.
